For SS’26, J’amemme shifts the focus from the garments to the woman who wears them. Titled Sa Lumière, the collection explores her energy, presence, and complexity in today’s world.
“Sa Lumière was created through different states — strength, storm, and calm. It plays with reality and illusion, showing the transition from fragility and tenderness to inner power. We wanted to highlight the woman from within, to place her on a pedestal. Our goal is to emphasize women’s inner energy and present it as an art object — monumental, almost as if in a museum.” — Julie Yarmoliuk, designer of J’amemme
Lightness and Movement
The collection is defined by sheer fabrics, lightness, and weightless movement. Chiffon and organza form the core, complemented by J’amemme’s signature pleats. For the first time, drapery enters the brand’s vocabulary, enhancing the sculptural quality of the silhouettes. The palette moves from soft aquamarines and warm browns to bold violet accents, reflecting the spectrum of a woman’s character.
Made from Recycled PET
A key look, a bright violet chiffon dress, was made entirely from 100% recycled plastic (recycled PET). The material went through a full transformation cycle — collected, processed, and turned into new textiles — reducing the use of raw plastic and its environmental impact, in line with the brand’s philosophy of conscious consumption.
The Show
Sa Lumière was presented at Ukrainian Fashion Week SS’26 as an intimate, layered, almost otherworldly experience of light. Partners included SOVA jewelry, Raiffeisen Bank, which supports female entrepreneurship and Ukrainian designers, and Weleda, which set up a backstage Hands Relax Zone and used its iconic Skin Food cream in model preparation.
