Variant

The Oman is a hand-pleated chiffon dress with a high mock-neck halter collar and bare, sleeveless shoulders that leave the back open. The fitted pleated bodice meets a separate waist belt, below which a wrap skirt drapes and gathers to one side, opening to a high asymmetric thigh slit and falling to an uneven, floor-grazing hem.
